Review on ODYSSEA EVO Led 48" 96W
Dear all,
Would like to find out what type of lighting good for 422 planted tank. Source and came to know at least 3w of lumen is needed for such tank? Correct me if wrong. Currently plants are low maintenance types. Having Amazon sword, crypts and red lotus with 3bps CO2 provided. Currently having 6x55w PL lights but only can see red lotus pearlings. so isit advisable to upgrade? So many brands like solite, maxspect, Odyssea. so which is good to invest? Came upon this model, ODYSSEA EVO Led 48" 96W? Was advise to get 2 sets at least...from EOA. In terms of price and durability ? Thanks |

Me too just bought this model. Yet to try it as tank has yet to arrive. However I was advised to use the low light for the first 4 weeks (as they are in the process of cycle) as the full light would be too powerful for the plants as each led is 3watts. As compared to other brands, so far this model was told to be good for aquatic plant tank (due to the 3watts). Not too sure of this though..
So I guess for yours, one set will be more than enough.. Last edited by InUtero; 01-04-2015 at 09:25 PM. |
