Bro very very very nice spawn lah

But I must agree quite stout bodies, although they carry their finnage well! I'm no expert but my spawns are quite slim (don't know whether that's good or not) and feed solely on boon (yup hassle to get live ones every alternate day!)

Regardless, very nice fish!

I noticed your spawns always have such stout bodies and broad finnages is it more on the genes selective breeding or more on tour feeding plan? Care to share more on the feeding plan?

Has nothing to with selection bro. I would say its definitely my feeding regime. I feed boon everyday until they are able to eat chopped tubi. After that its just all the way tubi, 2-3 times a day.

The stout body is very obvious for the blackheads but not so for the grizzles although still considered stout. Not sure whether it is because I tend to starve the grizzles a little when they were growing up.

Anyway, i'm heeding the advice from some forumers posted earlier and rotating between boon and tubi for my coming spawns. See what are the results.
