I also got s pair.

The dorsal 'eye' is red.

Most likely a crenicichla notophthalmus instead of regani.

Not C. notophthalmus, it's the undescribed C. sp. "Orinoco". That species has the red ocelli too but lacks the spikes in the first few dorsal rays. C. notophthalmus occurs in the Rio Negro only, it won't be found in the Orinoco.
