Haha.. i uprooted all those unsightly plants. They grow into plants than as carpet. Can't stand the sight of these messy ugly plants.
Totally discourage anyone to use these new 'tiny seeds' plants. Now I'm thinking what's a nice carpet. Any recommendation?Mini US Fissidens are nice but cost quite a lot, and a lot of efforts to tie them to SS Mesh, and it takes time to grow. I've a few dw tied with mini USF already. |

oic...
maybe can try monte carlo aka MC can take a look at my tank... they stay quite low and easier to maintain then HC... http://tropica.com/en/plants/plantde...8025TC%29/4442 if not then try hair grass... or glosso ... but for glosso if your light is not strong enough, they will grow tall. |

I saw this other plant that is similar http://tropica.com/en/plants/plantde...a(010BTC)/4762 I am also considering hair grass. Glosso wise, my lighting is a mere 204watt in a 4ft tank (abt 1.5ft height) with abt 180 liters of water. So I guess my lighting is not strong. |

I plant them strand by strand... and after that wait for them to spread...
Marselia is different.. it looks like glosso.. but I find it easier to keep problem with marselia is that it might grow bigger and taller.. you can see how I plant MC here.. http://www.arofanatics.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=535202 this is how my marselia looks like... http://www.arofanatics.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=520986 |

Seems like MC is easier and that it doesn't grow upwards.
The Marselia one I couldn't exactly locate but since you caution about it potentially growing taller (i read in tropica it can grow quite a bit), I will avoid. I want it flat. |

On the left. It really grows tall... not e carpet type of plant than. Guess I'll consider MC over most others.
