Default when can feed bbs to fries ?

anyone can advise on how old the fries must be to feed them bbs as betta fries look very small when free swimming ?

I tried to but the fries look smaller than the bbs
can they really eat them just free swimming?
I tried those hikari fries powder food but many fries die

Imo, bbs is one of the food available for them.

My guess is the fries died due to choke by the powder.

Betta fries prefer moving prey. I lost more than 95% of my hmpk spawn. Another way is get microworm

that's what happened to my spawn from the powder
now going to try bbs to see if can save the fries.

there is liquidfry 1 & 2... they have to be used before the pair breed and require plants as well..

you may want to consider keeping one or two tubs of microworms.. u will be surprised by the growth rate

I used liquidfry 1 for egg bearers.
btw, why need plants and use before breeding starts ?
money plant can or not cos I just put in one stalk in water ?
