OK, here's another Lionhead according to its owner... but as far as I can tell, it looks more like a ranchu.

See ah, this type of not-three-not-four fish is why I don't like crossing breed. A lionhead should be a lionhead. Don't cross it with a ranchu or you'll lose their identity.

Look like the one I bot recently leh. A slightly richer growth of a ranchu.

I think if you take the photo from a lower angle, you can tell it's a lionhead.

Wow, this one really solid man. I'll trade anything for it. The bulk, the excessive headgrowth covering the eyes, the big tails all add up to one sexy ranchu. The pelvic fins look kinda small though...

If you look at the pic closely, you can see a reflection of the camera on the glass wall. From that you can tell the pic was shot with the camera pointing downward into the tank. You see lots of the gravel bed too becoz of that. At such an angle, the curved back looks a lot more curved than it really is. The fish also look somewhat skinnier becoz of refraction from the glass wall. Nevertheless, this lionhead does look a lot like a ranchu... but is still a lionhead abeit a lousy not-three-not-four type.
