prepare water in pail with dechloriner... removes water from tank and then top up with prepared water.

but ..i feel its going to be tough~
i think my previous goldfish get...poisoning some say ammonia, etc.. not sure just know that the water suddenly have a strong smell and alot of foams.. and the fish is like hiding below the tank ..and waiting for death |

1. Off filters - OHF, External etc. 2. Siphon one basin of aquarium water, move fishes into basin. 3. Clean tank/tub. 4. Siphon whatever amount of water wanted to change. 5. Top up water into tank/tub, and then treat water. 6. Cycle tank for 5 ~ 10 mins, then turn on filters. 7. After that, then move fishes back into tank. The above procedure is to prevent/minimise damages on the BB colonies by only allow treated water pass thru the filter media and fishes will not contact with untreated water. |
