Still dun get it ... why sotong fish? short body?
Meaning in comparison to your Oya?

Peduncle too short for a young fish.

Ok ... Noted and thanks for sharing

So for young fish selection ... what should be the areas to look for? If the gap is obvious at young age ... will it cover up eventually?

What ratio is preferrred? 1:2:1 or 1:2.5:1 etc?

What gap you are referring?

Have gap will do lah. Gap too big also look ugly right.

I remember reading a few articles that mentioned it is best to have little or almost no gap at all...

Bro, check the pictures of the AJRS champion (top) and another fish. Can see the gap ler.
