sometimes they liddat one.....so full until cannot swim normally then have to swim at 45 degrees lor...

but if they cannot "float" or "sink" properly as in like just fall straight down to the bottom of the tank, then i think its prolly swim bladder

if the fish hasnt jump before doesnt mean it will never will. all fish jumps and its the owner's responsibility to cover the tank. just remember frmo now.

I have had bettas jumping out of holes less than 1 inch wide, but usually I notice such jumpy bettas may be down with diseases. Unless there are external factors such as noise pollution, if bettas jump out on their own, better be more careful with their well-being...

The whole water is full of whitish stuffs... some covering the fish body also...

change the fish water and apply some yellow powder as a precaution and keep a watch on it

last changed on sunday..
later will change again...

Hi Jas now,

Reduce the water level of your container so that even the fish starts jumping, at least it would not jump out of the container.

Another possible way is to use jave moss. The floating plant provides shelter and restrict the fish from jumping. Making it the feeling at home.

Look carefully at the fins..
If there is a very fine layer of slimy thing, than it could be velvet...
Just go buy medicine for velvet and follow the instructions can liao. I think is interpret 7..
