a tank journal
hi all...
after so long not keeping tank, finally came up with decent tank... concept, iwagumi with bamboo forest specs of tank, 1 ft X 6 inch (w) X 8 inch (h) HOF with mechnical filter of filter wool and some crumps of biohouse. substrate used is ADA amazonia II 2 granite rocks. hairgrass and java moss tied to sticks to get a bamboo feel lighting, T5 2X 9Watts. (i think. forgot already) temperature not taken. but colleges tank is said to be at 23 during normal days. Co2 set at 1bps. but trying to reduce to 1 per 2-3 seconds. will be getting a fan for weekends while not in office. will update frequently to see hows this decent tank will last... decomm date mar 09. so its a pretty shortlived project anyway. currently no faunas inside yet. preparing to intro in late sep. |

like the bamboo moss idea..but if can create some slope on the behind the big rock will be better..bcoz is a bit flat now..maybe can find few more small rock to place near the big rock..

Hope it works out for you.
The big rock looks a lil weird. Maybe you can shift it to the back and slant it a little? Also, are the rocks from the same source? Looks different. :P |
