Not true that chinese black usually turn orange, check my gallery. For all black ranchu, if condition is right, will also be jet-black like thai. However, if condition is not so ideal, then thai's belly will turn greyish and chinese's will turn white or pinkish (if you feed with red-enhancer.) Those chinese black which turn orange probably are mixture of black/orange breed, thus, the black colouration is not stable.

but your black chinese ranchu has some orange at the tummy?

Mine is a little bit orange or offwhite lah, but the remaining has been black since day one, no sign of changing to orange.

The image below are the worst case, however, probably there are hobbyist like this type of combination:
