Need help with stubborn scale problem
Need advise with my xbacks scale. Its been a while now that my xback has problem, I've tried .6% salt concentration for 3 weeks before.
Also tried White crane's Furazan Silver. The scale improved, but problem seems keeps on coming back. I've also cleaned the Canister .
Last week I used Ocean free's EXTERNAL BACTERIA & FUNGUS AWAY. After 3 doses , there was aslight improvement. After 3 205 water changes, I'm now using SLIME, WHITE SPOT & VELVET AWAY, also salt concentration is at .2%, I've added a heater to bring temp to 29deg celsius. I'm at a deadend would appreciate advise, the scales doesn't seem to bother my aro much, but it bothers me. would it be advisable to transmore the fish and rub h202, or acriflavine dirently onto the fish scales and tail? |

Just maintain good water parameter and put a lot of salt 1liter - 4-6 teaspoon dilute first then pour into the tank . Low down your ph to 6.4 work for me . Filter wool your need to change to new one .

Bro, it will take awhile to fully heal.
Change 30% water Use ocean free fungus away Add 6 soup spoon of salt. Increase temp to 30-31 degree. Repeat above every 4days If improve After 2 weeks Change water 20% weekly, The rest cut half of the dosage. Continue for another 2weeks. If heal, change water 20% Dosage cut down another half. SAlt 2 soup spoon will do Lower the temp week by week to 29. Also, change the white wool weekly. Hope this help. |

Try washing your media with the tank water, but in batches. Maintain good water parameters and 0.5% salt and it will recover in a few weeks.
