Haha, that was an interesting exercise of ID practice. Guess a lot more to learn. Thanks for sharing. For the ID on first fish, seen some thunder that looks like that. The pattern looks a bit unique.

I'm confused with the names
There's thunder and thunder goldline? Whats the difference? There's a huge difference in price from what I've seen posted. |

Same here. I just though they're two versions of the same common name, like how 'xingu' and 'platinum xingu' are the same fish.

imo, i dont know which was the post/thread/article that created the confusion, but in my opinion, thunder and thunder goldlines are the same. its goldline araguaia that's different. different denture, different head shape, difference in head slope and difference in body shape. the stripes/body markings are pretty different too.

Well I see vendors on this site asking a lot more for a fish called "goldline thunder" and the Tapajos is a lot cheaper at the same size.
I also remember one of the Japanese sites having " Golden thunder " and just " Thunder " there was a difference of around 12,000 yen similar size These are pictures I saved of them they look different as well GOLDEN THUNDER THUNDER This is why I'm confused lol |

Well, we're all in this journey of better understanding these beautiful fishes. Hopefully some experts can help shed some lights on this. Thanks. |

My araguria, which were rare and from batches way ahead of the recent shipment.
