Default Young Tosai Development

Dear bros/sis,

Just to share some development of a bbr, unfortunately, when i found time to take pics, it had already changed colour and this piece was actually the first to change.

Will more red come out on the head or it will stay this way?

Hi Koiluver,

The colour of it head will remain the same but the red portion sometimes does spread wider.

Is it possible to tell how a bbr will turn out based on its bloodline?

I see in the last pics, some are white and red and others are whole body golden color. Are they from the same parents?

Estimated 4 months but in terms of size, they're not ideal as i'm sure they could have been bigger in size and better than that if i had given them more of my time. Time to change my focus.

They're not from the same parents but same line. Whether is it possible to tell how a bbr will turn out based on bloodline? In general, i would say yes but it take quite some time and your determination to achieve.

Hi Daryl,
What do you think is the cause for both of the fish to lose their yellowish heads when young?
