redcross Oscar behaving weird

Hi Guys...

Need some advise here.
My tiger oscar has been behaving weird for past few weeks.

Signs :

1. Hiding at the water return pipe.
2. lying down at the base of tank at times.
3. Not eating much.
4. Frequent flaring at the albino oscar

Oscar does have a few "holes" in the head area from fighting with the albino and aro but nothing serious, all surface wounds tat din heal properly.

So far I've done WC, added salt, increase the water flow and it's still on off hiding at the base of tank or water return area...

Not normal rite?

Gf, those holes, could they be "hole-in-the-head"? HITH thing.

If so, very frequent wc will heal those holes.

honest, at times mature oscars are indeed drama Queens, very temperamental & hide around the corner.

Can download a clip on your oscars, gf?

good on you gf

Your tiger should be a drama Queen.

But soon, it will get it over.

As long as it doesn't have some "sunken" stomach or open wounds, should not have much issue

To be honest.. the only time i see any fish lie down is when they're not feeling well. And this is like almost 30 years of fish keeping on and off wif various fishes.

But even if sick, also wun drag for so many weeks.

This one quite mind buffering for me.

Ang kong no have.. this bugger lies down only when lights out.
Once I on light he will come upright liao quite hard to catch him in the act.

Gf, is the oscar in question breathing heavily or having difficulty?

Honest, I had oscars that's lie on its side for a week or so.

Suddenly, it was back to it usual self.

Honest, I have keeping oscars since I was a kid too, oops! Back in the 60s
