Over-filtration is what I do for my setup and when filling up the tank, I use direct tap water but in a slowly dripping manner and using very concentrated anit-chlorine. So far so good for my side.

i understand that " slowly dripping manner" is a safe method to prevent shock but we must be patient as topping up of big tank will take age...

Yeah. It usually takes me a few hour to do it. Important point is our fishes will not be affected.

Well, by having a big tank & dont over stock, i dont think we need to WC so often.
But can we really stop "over-stocking" that is a problem.

No matter how big my tanks are also "over-stocking" one
We all have this problem haha...

better not ,they are quite territory type
coz i just bought 3 albino to try my new tank which i run for a week ,later found 1 was being bullied ,so i shift that 1 into my old tank with alto
now this birchardi start to chase away my alto

Just bought 2 pcs of comp.
Had tried hikari cichlid gold but seem they don't like it...
they threw out the pallets .
Any other food to recommend?
