Reading the thread, there seems to be a rather high percentage of fries that have dorsals in this line? What more, the dorsal is fully developed from the pictures, perhaps there really is oranda blood in this line, Ranchu Lover?
My own line gives me about 2% with dorsals(less than 100 in 4000), but seldom any have dorsals fully developed like this, usually the odd ray that sticks out like a needle. |

On the other hand, I have not seen a single fries with this problem on any of my TVR fries. Guess the Thai breeders must have tried to mix and match with other varieties in the hope of getting a freak variety. |
