The TV has been repeating the actual tribute again and again and again in HIS OWN WORDS.

In MY personal opinion, it was delivered pretty much ok.
One thing LTK said that rang very true.

LKY hates bullshit, finding it a waste of time. And that if any suggestions can get through his debate and scrutinization, he will most likely accept.

I think wad the MAJORITY in tat room took offence at was that they suddenly realise they saying alot of bullshit.

Even if anyone is to say that LTK is politicizing the situation, like as if the New PAP is not...

(Btw, i think of them as the New PAP. If anyone even watch LKY rallies - you will have realised the new team don't seem to be aligning to the vision old man set out in first place.)

LTK is definitely entitled to his views as much as everyone else.
while my mandarin is definitely not passable, reading the subtitles did not make me think he was landing a low blow. he was expressing his view in a critical and constructive manner. might not have been the most gracious thing to say at that moment, but i don't think LKY himself expect any favours or false praise.
