Bro. Back track abit. When u post ur set up photo. I see that you have 2 canister. Is it one into the other? Do you on both or just one?

Like your clean set up. I'm a bit OCD hahaah.
Anw am I right to say that you added a pre filter to grow anaerobic bb rather than really to prefilter stuff? ( to my knowledge, planted / shrimp don't really need prefilter |

Hehe.. Thanks bro. No, my prefilter is solely for mechanical filtration. Main filter for biological filtration. The reason why I use a prefilter is to aid in maintenance. Since only mechanical filtration needs to be maintained more regularly, I can just remove the prefilter to change the wool inside.
