Default Soften Light Tube

Hi,

I have a built in light tube from ADA tank which i found to bright as my Clown loaches, and even tiger barbs are hiding when i switched on the light.

I did a modification by wraping the tube with those thin fabric gift wrapper and then rolled everything with a matte transparent tape. so the fabric wont get wet.

Seems like the glare is reduced, but some of the fishes are still hiding.

Anyone knows how to make the glare less?

The tube is white, 15watt.. i tried to find a 5 or 10watt tube for 2 feet tank but cant find any.

Thanks for the advise.

try using a over head light instead of builg in as the brightness wont penatrate straight into the tank...i think your CL and TB are small fish so they are quite scare of brightness and big shadow...u can try QH, thay might have what you want maybe.
