Just wondering, would the belly bulge eventually stretch to the tail? Because at this point, looks a bit 'helicopter' to me. No offence intended. It is a beautiful fish.

Ask melvvv to update in 6 months time to see if the shape remains helicopter... This baby hi utsuri is barely 3 months old, at such young age the head and shoulder will develop first, and these 'leader" babies eat alot, so the stomach looks like this for now, give some time for it to grow it shld straighten out.

IMO the fish will be even out as it grow...It should not hv the big belly issue

i am totally amazed by how this utsuri (my son called him tiger and i luv tiger woods) fight with the big boys for food everyday.

i think no need 3 months, 1 month plus can see the difference already. will post picture in mid feb...
