i'm not good at recommending a better skimmer 2 u as i feel tat almost all skimmer r the same(statement excludes those higher-end skimmers like beckett, H&S, Eaqua.....)
i once used a red sea prizm, prior 2 buying i tot it shd b a good 1. but it skims too slow n too little.
i bought a 2013 2 'chiam si dong' after selling off the prizm n b 4 making a good upgrade. guess wat, it skims real good n up till now still very happy with it.
today i juz went 2 a reefer hse n looked at his sps tk. it was like 'wwooooww' the moment i saw it. he is oni using a marco n yet can keep his sps beautifully.
think i'm getting a bit long winded..
To me, you guys who's willing to help are never too long winded. The more you talked, the more I learn. Btw, what pump are you using for your 2013?

i'm using a 2000l/h atman pump. might going 2 DIY the impeller into a needle wheel type n c if the performance will b better. sooner or later i'll do a upgrade if my few frags of acro show signs of success.

I think Octopus Bay at Roxy square selling the impeller. You can try your luck there if you are keen to get one. But DIY will be more fun.
