True but 无风不起浪. I believe the gossip have done some level of damage.

The only person to reveal the salary will be the player's agent.
One big final conract for some. Also Read that DDG will stay if he is given an improved contract. |

If thats the case the agent is smart to mkt his players and get better deals for his commision cut.
Read we have only 100mil to spend for the trasnfer. A way to counter the shrewd agent. |

In that case, the following committee might be in existence. ESPN claim that Woodward will now head a committee-like approach to transfers with a group that includes chief scout Jim Lawlor, global scout Marcel Bout, analyst Mick Court, chief negotiator Matt Judge plus Solskjaer and his backroom staff coming together to discuss transfers. |

Crystal Palace demand the same money United's bitter rivals Man City paid Tottenham for Kyle Walker in 2017 Talks between the clubs are set to continue this weekend after United’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward returns from holiday. The deal will make 21-year-old Wan-Bissaka the most expensive British defender, overtaking Walker when he triggers bonuses for appearances and trophies. -The Sun Plus a few other sites reporting the same |

2 factors for consuderation.
Adaptiibility to physical game in epl and price to pay for his service. So far only spur eriksen seems a proven good choice. But think he is longing to join RM. |

His 1st choice is RM. Otherwise he will renew his contract with us unless we offer him a huge signing on fees Anyway, the valuation of a player has spiralled out of control. 10 years ago, RM paid 80mil for CR, today's market 80mil for player such as Maquire |

I believe the agent has done well in pushing for a high price for his players under his wings.
Its a willing buyer and willing seller mkt. We can only save cost by investing in young lads from academy. But are they up to it to make it to 1st team. We need to identify and cement the 1st team players and form a 2nd team good enough on standby else will be on chopping board from agent advantage. |
