That's not green water leh, like water not change for weeks. According to the bros here, the green water is like erh ... green and only can see fish a little... translucent i think. Watever lah. Also hor, suppose to see fish red red in green water, your fish like fading off.

Anyway, your fish so big, the tank so small. Wah liao, u got check your water parameters or not ?
Amonia and nitrite measures will tell the real story!

I just read a few sites of "green algae" ... goodness, 7000+++ species of algae. So which algae is green water ? My mum is eating that blue-green algae tablet call wat spirulina from korea one. So in green water, we are culturing blue green algae ?

getting more complex leh. So many types, which type gf need ?

most probably you have already read some algae will release toxin... very scary right?

ya lor ... i tot green water is good but how come some algae bad. Write email to the experts and ask them. very chim, i think i more confuse liao.

yeah getting a new 3ft tank this weekend.. know its a bit cramp.
but my water always turn 'GREEN' or brown if you guys say, 2, 3 days after waterchange. thanks for your comments k.. will check the site.

Simple! No air, green water algae will gobble up all the oxygen that's left...so your fishes will 'kiah siew' loh....peng tor loh!

The real danger for green water is at night. Make sure the air stone is always on!
