Sick gup
One of my AFRs is sick...
The tail looks like folded and drooping down. He's also not eating... I don't know if he would survive long. I've quarantined him already, in case it is contagious. Is this fin rot disease? Didn't think it is, as the fin doesn't look like it's rotting, just clamped up. Water condition - ph7.5, nitrate & nitrite close to zero, ammonia zero. I haven't introduced any new fish to this tank in last 3 weeks. The only thing I did slightly different is the introduction of sodium bicarbonate from WC to improve the pH, but I don't think it's the reason... Also, I just fed them with tubi few days ago. I usually only feed them with frozen blood worms, frozen brine shrimps, dry food and sometimes BBS. Any advice for me please? |

The other gups are doing fine, so maybe this one is more sensitive to ph changes. I hope he will recover in the quarantine tank. |

Bro, perhaps you can try tear up a few pieces of ketapang leaves and put inside. It helps in healing.

How did you introduce the fish to your tank?
pH 7 at your home doesn't mean LFS also 7pH. Temperature wise? Sudden pH change. |
