Good good if they are in freshwater.

figure 8 puffers are freshwater puffer though they can tolerate brackish water

Haha there are pretty different views on this. But most views online lean towards fresh water.

You cannot comm. them with those fishes. They'll be eaten in due time.

Try Fahakas although they are very aggressive. The rest are either too small for a comm. tank of 4ft (if you have predatory fishes) or too big like the MBU.

From what i've read online, they do considerably well in Brackish but are actually Freshwater Puffers.

whos keeping mbu now? How big are they? Just bought one piece from AH to replace mine which mysteriously died few months ago, sudden death syndrome.
