pH 6.5 buffer for shrimp tank
Is there commercial buffers that can maintain pH 6.5 for shrimp tanks. My tank water has been at pH7.5 lately despite just minor WC of 5% weekly. I think my GEX soil buffering capacity is gone liao. So apart from changing new soil, what other methods can help to mainlain lower and stable pH?

You can try Mosura soft water but you have to figure out a way to keep it flowing.

Wat I heard is Power House media do buffer the PH to 6+ but not sure how long it will last. maybe u wan to check it out.
but best option is cycle another tank then transfer ur shrimp over after fully cycled. |

Thanks for the suggestions. For now, used pH minus from Aqumedi to lower pH to 7.0. Will do WC with water adjusted to pH 6.5 before adding. Hopefully shrimps are ok.

Best is to change the soil. Else my recommendation is to add Sera super peat, but split up the portion as the whole bag will drop yr pH drastically
