Seems like a fish aquisition season!
Bro zealot, where you keep your kois? must go visit these quality pieces Tho least developed, I like the 22cm ISA Sanke the most cuz I'm a sucker for big fish pattern + it ends with a classy odome section! haha Will really be interested in the development of the maruyama showas.. cuz experience from my Maruyama Showa is good! Enjoy! |

Bro....looks like you have been buying a lot of koi...
You mentioned about general grade kohaku, would you like to explain more, like why it is classified as general grade? I suppose those Sanke and Showa in the initial 5-6 photos, these are the higher grade. Overall the patterns looks attractive. But some of them, particularly the maruyama showa, to me, these are "high risk" koi in term of pattern from the photos. E.g. 29cm showa (10/12/10), 31 cm Showa (5/1/11) These are showa, but can't really see any hidden sumi mark on the koi. Maybe the photo didn't manage to capture it. Nevertheless, all the Isa one looks great. And the last pcs that you like best also looks great. There are some hidden sumi mark for anticipations. and lastly, I suppose you are not bother by the sex of the koi. |
