yest read up on ammonia at the other thread on aqua landscaping and i went home to test my ammonia level (i got the test kit) and it was reading 3.5!!!! omg that is high......so i did a drastic thing.....100% water change...........gosh no wonder there is this strong fishy smell.......
last hight spent a long time observing the 2 crays to see if there is anything wrong.......seems alrite......blue is still a greedy bugger while the orange is not eating much as usual..................... |

my hilea internal filter (BT200) is considered bearable as but easy to maintain. at nite can still hear the water/bubble gushing out from the filter but i make adjustment by putting a thin film over the portion where the bubble hit the surface to cancel out the bubble sound.......less noisy but still can hear the gushing sound......intending to make another adjustment to the hole of the filter to disperse the bubbles....prob putting a fine netting over the mouth will cancel out the gushing noise at the same time retain the oxygen in the water gushing out..........

oh the one i got is actually quite easy....just take it out, unlatch and remove the media and put in the new ones. i got a dwarf pleco in the tank and its ok. i think crays will bully anything it can get its claws on. the ones at my inlaws place tried to have a go at the PNT but the PNT's skin too think liao so the claw is useless haa haa haa and the pleco is also 3 times big and totally heck care the cray................
