Bro,

Generally the believe is that the QC in Japan is better in comparison. Some bosses of LFS also like to emphasise that Japan FBW is cleaner. But still the Chinese brands have been around for sometime so surely they can't be too bad.

If you are worried about the hygiene factor of the FBW, perhaps you should monitor the excretion of your fish. If their faeces is white and stringy, i.e., squiggly and long, chances are they are infected with internal parasites. Then you may want to do the proper remedial steps to make sure their are "Fit for Infantry" (FFI) again.

Yeah bro. Besides Hikari, all other brands are from China. And people have been using them for so long, so shouldn't be an issue.

Just get my hikari 32 cubes fbw box at y618. Aunty said stock come yday.

here's my take on why i use the "japan" type instead of the "china" type...

My water doesn turn yellow with prolong use of the "japan" type

So far the China ones doesn't cause my water to turn yellow.
Maybe because i raise them first before feeding to my GFs.
