Not necessary.

My altum is living under normal Hdb water condition which is similar to domestic discus

That was what I think I should be doing - raise the PH for the main tank with altums to about 6-7.

But, how long have you had your AAs?

Just slowly raise up your ph for your AA, they can tahan quite well once they are stable . Easier for your domestic discus to get used.

2013 batch now still keep in so low ph? How big are them now?

Mine's 2014 batch. That's why think twice before raising PH. But they in tank for 2 months and seemed quite stable. So, I think I raise PH slowly bah.

Yesterday just did water change and removed about 80% of peat from filter media. This is my first step. Give two-three days then I think I add coral chips.

Do you think I should add sodium bicarbonate, etc.? Or, will PH rise only with CCs and water changes?

Just remove the peat, no need add cc or others first. Obverse the aa see if they are ok.
