where to buy koi
hi guys,
I am a newbie when it comes to koi (or even fishes). have recently completed a pond and am looking to get some kois. like to seek some opinions from you guys 1. I know there's a few grade of kois, pond, show etc. I think I will be happy with just pond grade. where can I go to buy some? 2. for pond grade koi, is there a 'market rate' for say a koi that's 10cm, 20cm or 30cm long etc? basically, is there anyway that I know I am not being overcharged and am paying within a fair value range? 3. I googled and came across the following farms. marugen, max, Nippon, diamond, summer. if its just pond grade that I am after, which farms sell those? any comments, suggestions are most appreciated! TIA! |

thanks bro!
I have an budget, plus am not experience. think pond grade good enough for me if I splurge on any better kois, my pond condition, parameter might not do them justice yeah, am happy to buy them off any bros who are letting go but I do not see much koi activities/discussions? seems more bros here are into goldfish? |

Bro, we all start with no experience haha.
The community here is small, but passionate because there r only few that Can find space in their homes to groom kois. Nonetheless, I have friends who can groom really nice kois in 5 ft FGT in their balconies! I am always happy to talk and discuss about kois |

What is the dimensions of your pond and what filtration? Pardon for being nosy but this information can better help you decide on your livestock count.
