I can accept the white tips. When i see that body structure, other things not important liao.... besides i'm not likely to enter for koi show...

More updates in future for this koi please.

Some examples to illustrate how the shape changes as they grow up. These are from the class of 2007 who are still with us....

Bro Terence,

Thanks for the writeup....

Ah Seng breeding program has been quite successful, but I've lost touch with them recent few years...

Many years back, I used to keep quite a no of Nippon breed koi.
Main Chagoi, Ochiba and Yamabuki....
Did not try any gosanke though.

An old pic...should be 70+/-cm..

Terence - thks for helping to choose the Hi Utsuri. ever since it came back it has been eating non-stop fighting with the big boys. i dont even need to put it in the net.

we can definitely go choose koi together again- i go for patten, you go for size.

p.s. 6 ton pond got no choice - must go from patten. i am already making plans to offload a few of my kois in 6 months time, given the rate of my feeding habit and the way they are growing now.

His gosanke still not as good as his shiro or chagoi/ochiba, but with recent good parents borrowed from some big bros, i think will get better.
