I use a 100mm macro lens. and switch off the main lights in the room so there's no reflection.

Mostly just parameters set in my camera. I shoot in raw so I can adjust after transfering to my PC

Most DSLR users shoot in RAW, quality is better than jpeg. Plus you can still adjust lots of parameters after shooting.
