if yes you might want consider covering it a different way. based on my experience covering it like that will cause the pump to overheat and lead to damage to the rubber or diaphram. had a pump spoiled due to overheat ( kept in enclosed space) 2x. after moving the pump out to open air the pump have been rock solid.

Bro, yes it is cover in this way as I have no other way to protect it. However after the shelter is built, I will shift it to the other side (which is under shelter) and I can dispose the cover then...

The shelter is going to be ready this week. Hopefully they can install the glass tomorrow or latest by Friday
I DIY a polycarbonate panels to act as a fence. With that, I can remove all my current netting. I am so excited to see my DIY project works Will post pic some pics tomorrow...

What air pump is that? I leave my HiBlow 80 out in the open. My original HiBlow 40 ran for over 5 years on my old pond under similar circumstances.

Huh... Hiblow is water resistant? I am using Hiblow 60 (or 80? I cannot remember exactly ) Dont know who told me it is indoor pump, cannot put outdoor

My DIY panel to block the fish from jumping out. I design in such a way that the front can be opened if I want to go into the pond to do 'area cleaning' and the side at the staitcase can also be opened if I want to maintain my filter system. The best part is if I dont like the panels, I just detach them and put them back whenever I like
I am still using the net to temporary cover as I damn scare people will throw down fishing line as what some bros said

Hi bro,

Is the panel free standing on the tank? The height of the panel is not high enough imo. Look can the photos from aro farm harvesting and you can see the height of the net they use.

For those condo ground floor units that come with private pools... Can convert the pool to pond?

Depending on space, I think that you might be able to.

Be prepared to rip out and replace the pumps and filtration system though.
Pool systems tend to be high head and medium flow. Pond systems are generally low head and high flow. Using pool pumps in a pond setting is usually a big waste of power.

You will also need to check how your bottom drains are laid out. Some things may need to be augmented to allow for proper waste clearance.
