This shows the lack of depth in the squad. With matches being played twice a week, you cannot expect the same eleven to play all the time but have to put in some of the others at times.

Only City can form 2 fairly solid teams.

Fully agreed that we are devoid of depth in the squad. But Ole's team selection leaves much to be desired. Just like when EB or DVDB will not be chosen even if fully fit on most occasions.
Against Leicester, when we were down 1-2, instead of retaining the creative players he elected a defensive SM and took off DVDB and PP at the same time.
Every pundit were calling for Fred to be withdrawn, but Ole elected to keep him for almost 80mins before taking him off and still defended his rationale!!
It also reflected on the role Carrick has in the team selection or is he totally over-ruled by Ole and has no part to play??

Ppl will think twice whether to buy him or not if put on sale

Watched the game but honestly thought it was not a nasty knock or bad foul but the manner he reacted and grimaces felt as though he was seriously injured. Unlike MR, sad to say that AM threshold for pain seems very low and his recovery period is normally long.
At the rate he performed whilst playing for us, doubt his share value had increased, but should have taken a nose dive. It is a real pity cos when he is on song, he is damn good but this is far and in between.
The only way we can offload him is player swop deal plus cash.

If you were to ask me, I would offload MR instead of AM.
That's my personal opinion, but I think AM is a very very good player, but he is like a spear without the stick behind, very sharp, but no use as not supported.

Well, the internationals are coming to an end and the premier league starts again this weekend.

Ole at it again. VL is chosen ahead of EB who is not even on the bench.
That is the surest way to make them want to leave the club, including Tuanzebe who hardly ever start even when fully fit. We all know that VL is not fully fit yet Ole has no hesitation selecting him

Apparently AM is out till end of the season after his injury playing for France.
Though Cavani is fit to play but he too has history of injuries and we are left with Greenwood, Rashford and James.
With Ahmad not given much game time, we can hardly expect him to have any impact till end of the season.
