Tiger shrimp need cold water, if you can keep them in 20 to 25, that should be the best.

If you want to keep them at 27C, it should be able to last for days or weeks only.

Hmm, I was advised and i have also tried researching, that cherries / sakura ideal temp is 25 to 27, tolerate up to 30 max. 29 seems like on the high side already.
Do correct me if I'm wrong.

Have you been keeping them for long in tat temp? I think long term wise not so advisable. But if they still can breed is a good sign!!
My temp was 29 too initially till I got a cooling fan. It can keep the temp maintain between 26 - 27, at times 25. But the weather is way too hot! So definitely need to cool down.

Only setback is cooling fan evaporates the water quite alot, so constantly topping up will affect the water parameter. Sigh.

If your tank is big, can consider to invest in a chiller.

Base on your current temp I will say it's not very likely your CRS or BDS will do well in there...

i guess they will barely survive, and not do as well in high temp. but since we are keeping them, might as well give them a better environment.

2nd hand chiller sounds not too bad an idea.
