The blacked section on the right appears (guess) more like the tank is for an internal overflow system (IOS), which, can be useful if you do know how to prevent shrimps from flowing over and get trapped.
The initial setup looks like a 'display' tank, more like what we see in LFS, showing a setup. The new setup... well, e front bare patch looks ok to some but personally, i rather hv a carpetted base (eg using US Fissidens) in a sense. What I'm saying is, what looks good to one, may not look that appealing to another. Go with your own preference (setup). Most importantly, provide a healthy and safe environment for your shrimps. |
