maybe just half the number of the current! that will be good!
but if you do have space.. try to make a 2ft tank.. its better!

40 shrimps in a 1 ft tank , i can see yr filtration is a HOF ... for me in a 2feet 50 shrimps already I find it over crowded ... I would take out like 60% of what u have then would be just nice , and wat kinda media u have in yr HOF ?

i got a 1.5ft tank on my table shelve as well... i gt the drift wood in it.. which gave alot problem.. like white algae.... can all ur plants flourish without CO2? i find it hard with just light itself... they will turn brown n die.. even when my nitrate shows high on test strip..

Waoo, that's a very nice themed tank. Like the centre pc drift wood, half submerge half above the water. What kind of filtration u use?
