Bro Maznawi, IMHO I believe buying near same size is better. You never know if a big one is going to eat the smaller one some day when it's hungry.

true.. my endi ate my ropefish.. so sad... now my newly bought my del, ornate and sb albino bichirs have to be put in iso tank.. if not will be feeders to my endi.. lower jaw bichirs tend to be more aggressive than upper jaws.. but i guess now my endi tone down abit.. coz i have a semi sb longfin senegal half the size of my endi.. so far my endi havent try to bite it.. last time any new bichirs half of its size, it will chase them around the tank trying to eat them..

My Endi ate my est 6" ornate. Endi was at 14". Now i heart pain, LFS all no more ornate same size one, bought a small ornate around 4.5". Thought was quite ok first few days, then one shocking day after work. Open my door, went to the tank to do a roll call, found one fellow missing then I saw a familiar tail in my Silver's mouth. Not again!!!
Went to C328 to find as was told by friend there were some 6-7 inches one day. Wanted to go down then saw my friend sms that the ornates were not there already. Haiz, guess I'm just not fated to keep ornate |

Currently only have 1 endi 9" & 1 albino SB, kind of not enough.
Therefore went down to NKS ard 8.30pm to look at their $20 endi. Not really high quality, but worth it considering it's size. I did not buy any, have ard 4-5pcs left. Interested bros better hurry... |
