Default Tablet Co2

Can anyone comments on the effectiveness of tablet CO2 in a planted 2 ft tank? Is there such a thing call overdosing or too much CO2. My is a shrimp tank, so will excessive CO2 be a problem

And i added a little air pump in the tank to circulate it, will it nullify the CO2 in the water ?

Appreciate any advice.

Thanks!

using tablet co2 for long term is very costly than getting a co2 tank.. since is a 2ft tank, why bother to get co2 tablet? get a co2 tank instead and is quite cheap now.. a new one only cost $45 - $55 right now.. avoid using air pump as it pump out the co2.. use canister filter or bio-foam filter..
