Hello,
I am an italian guppy show fan !
this web forum is very good, congratulations

I post here my guppy photo :

this is a Platinum Mosaic (an F5 generation selected to a crossing mosaic x grass)



this is a Cobra Moscow red into 3 generation I have worked to based red colour and little point design

Hi Salvatore,

Welcome, & nice fish you have there. But, I'm just wondering why this 2nd pic is termed "Cobra Moscow Red"? For this pic, if the caudal has more finer dots as lace (and minus the metal head), it would kindda resemble the German Red Lace.

this guppy strain is different to red lace !
red cobra is report at colour and design of caudal finn and 1/2 body (red cobra = red snakeskin)

but the name : "moscow" is report to the colour af head area!
this area isn't the normal "metal head" because all moscow guppy have the possibility to change the colour of head area gray to black ! the humour of fish consent this change of colour

in photo my guppy have a grey colour at head and tummy zone, but when it are excite or scare, this zone became black-blue

Looks very similare to the strain of Gernot Kaden , Dresden-Germany.
Look at his webpage
He is very famous in germany .

excuse me you can write here the exact link where are the photo of guppy of Gernot Kaden ? I don't understand the german language


for samuelphan,

metal head haven't a possibility to change colour
platinum in similar at metal head but moscow i think no .
