Looks like I will be moving to a new place soon. Of course I'm gonna build a new pond there. It will be glorious. If the budget allows, it might reach between 70-80 tons.

I will do some minor rework on this pond when that is done. This house will likely be rented out, so I need to make the pond as worry free as possible for the future tenants. Pond might make a decent dipping pool if the tenants don't want fish. The RDF does an appreciably good job of keeping the water nice and clear. Just need to add a chlorinator, and maybe a sand filter.

Going to be at least a year. Hope to break ground early next year.

Preliminary plans. It's probably going to be a bit smaller as we are still not sure if we want to cut back the slope all the way on the left, which would require expensive piling.

Chillers only going in if we install solar panels to offset the power use.

Need to get BCA permission for the whole house first. If all goes ok, next year start.

My pond DB tripped yesterday. Luckily I was watching the fish and saw the waterfall stop.

Got me scared as I have redundancy everywhere, but on the main DB - which is something I don't expect to just trip for no reason.

Bought me this thing to mount on my DB box.

It will scream bloody murder if the DB loses power.

With a phone dialer, it can also call me wherever I am to report the emergency.

As for the new house, just did resubmission for BCA approval. Waiting for soil test results before planning final pond design.

Planning trench runs for the circulation and drain pipes. Cannot run next to neighbour as the trench is too deep.
