Arrow Tank too big for cabinet

Anyone can help me because my tank cabinet is fit only width 1.5ft but I custom made wrongly 2.5ft, if I just put it on the cabinet with the back 1ft popping out, will it cause any problem ? If any other diy ideals please let me know thanks.

Cabinet too small and tank too big?

Suggest you re-fabricate a properly sized cabinet or metal stand as don't think the undersized cabinet can hold the full weight of the filled up 2.5ft width tank. Will be a big hazard in time to come.

It's fitting nicely only the back of the tank popping out by 1ft. Headache...

Bro, honest in the long run the dead weight from the tank may cause problems to the cabinet.

Or to temporarily "insert" an item of the same height and width of the "gap" to cushion off the "excess".

Item must be strong enough to take the weight too.

Adjust your tank to the center of the cabinet make it balance on all the 4 side.

Don't take it too lightly. Weight of water is no joke. In the long run cracks on cabinet might appear and if one day it gives way, imagine what would happen to your floor....
