I thought Jurgen Klopp would make a couple more changes today but clearly he thinks Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson haven’t trained enough this week to start the game. I’m sure we’ll see Alexander-Arnold at some stage as Klopp won’t want him going into the Bayern game having not played for five or six weeks.

What an opportunity for Naby Keita. It was a real mixed bag from him against West Ham and he must have feared that he wouldn’t make the line up today.

However, with only Gini Wijnaldum returning, it’s Adam Lallana makes way and Keita starts a fourth successive game for the Reds for the first time.

Is this the day when he truly gets his Liverpool career up and running? I really hope so.
