I have never check on water parameter as I normally do 100% water change at least once a week. Normally I can see them laying eggs one or two days after the water change. If they don't lay egg, I do another major water change within that same week itself. Can advise me how water parameter affect the fertility?
Btw for meth blue, is it to prevent fungus or is there another reason for using it? My female discus is very hardworking when tending the eggs and I didn't see any fungus developing until a day or two after the fertile egg have hatched.
