got it from an uncle more than a yr back. actual age unknown. but at least with him for quite sometime. It used to be unhealthy when they kept it in a plastic pond and they dun really maintain the water. But now i guess it is much healther and can see it grow about 1-1.5" over this 1 yr.
Boy or girl i duno how to differentiate. doesnt matter also as long it is healthy.
