To add on precaution measure:
1) Weekly dose some bacteria supplement (1-2 cap) will help to growth and maintain the good bacteria growth.
2) Once a month, if you observe BT's white-spot is out(again!?) for more than 3-days. Consider change 5-10% water and Dose Myxazin(Reef-safe if you apply correctly..half-dosage for my case) will help to keep Ich away and will save you a few sleepless night..
