btw on bottom drain, 4" is definitely recommended. I think that you will do ok with a single one since your pond isn't very large.

I think your planned pump capacity may be a little low. You need to do at least 3000gph through the bottom drain alone to keep the line clear of settled crap - especially if you go with 4".

Consider using 2x Tsurumi PU2.15S rated at about 3000gph each. There will be losses due to head, which will reduce your final flow rate. 2" plumbing should be sufficient since your pond is relatively compact. I wouldn't go below 2".

I agree with NutX that a 24x7 aerated bottom drain is probably not going to help visibility - that's a problem I currently have with my own pond. His suggestion to use side wall bubblers is a good one.
