Prior to this never used such products. Just use seachem prime when i do my weekly water change. Filtration should be quite well stocked i guess, 1st compartment in sump is filter wool on top and bacteria house bottom, 2nd and 3rd is mixture of CR and biohome.

Had 5 arowanas in the 6x2x2.5 tank as i wanted try breeding my RTG. Tankmates are 3 sebaraus and some cichlids, and some discus, all are small.

Water actually is not that bad, but I stopped water change for 2 weeks prior to the incident as i did not want to disturb my arowanas because i notice a pair is starting to dance together and making mating sounds.

As i said backside itchy, cos i thought since i am not going to change water for some time, can try to use this product to remove phosphates (which algae feed off).
